She holds appointments as an Associate Professor of Nutrition and Dietetic Preceptor at various institutions, and is an active member of several professional organizations in nutrition, public health, integrative medicine, and wellness coaching.
Amanda blends her experience with functional performance and higher education teaching for a unique nutrition therapy experience, ensuring patients learn what their individual bodies need for longevity using the latest science, technologies, and therapy. Dr. Matt Feder graduated from the University of Central Florida with a pre-medical B.S. degree in Health Sciences. Dr. Feder later went on to the University of St. Augustine where he graduated as class Valedictorian with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During his time at the University of St. Augustine, he was a member of the Delta Phi Tau Honor Society and the founding President of the Sports Special Interest Group.
Dr. Feder prides himself on providing excellence in orthopedic manual physical therapy. He has extensive experience working with complex spine disorders in addition to sport-related injuries. He is a lifelong learner who understands it is crucial to adapt and evolve as innovations in medicine continue to arise. Dr. Feder strives to take an integrative and innovative approach to address nutritional, sleep, and stress factors which may contribute to the nature of your musculoskeletal and spine issues. He enjoys working collaboratively with orthopedic, sports, and regenerative medicine physicians to create the best non-surgical or post-surgical outcomes for his patients. Dr. Feder’s experience ranges from working with professional athletes and business executives, all the way to high school athletes seeking to be the best in their individual sport.
Dr. Feder has had firsthand experiences of his own with prior shoulder injuries from being a baseball pitcher along with prior ACL surgery. These experiences have translated to a great sense of empathy and perspective you can only achieve from going through it yourself. From these experiences, he has a great affinity and understanding of treating the entire musculoskeletal system as whole. He has extensive experience working with spine disorders, sports injuries, and orthopedic injuries throughout the entire body. About Dr. Alexander:
Dr. Alexander is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist(OCS) whose 10+ years of experience includes working with a wide array of orthopedic, sports, and military-related injuries. He has a particular interest in treating spine and neck disorders. This interest led him to pursue advanced training, and eventually become credentialed, in the method of McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT).
Dr. Alexander also completed an Orthopedic Residency at Fort Stewart Army Base that specialized in manual therapy and treatment of orthopedic, sport, and tactical-based injuries. During his time in the residency, he was involved in collecting data for a randomized control trial investigating the effects of spinal manipulation on patients with sciatica. These credentials, combined with advanced training in spinal manipulation and dry needling, has led to Dr. Alexander being one of the most sought-after practitioners in South Florida for the conservative care of spine, orthopedic, and sports-related injuries. His experience ranges anywhere from working with celebrities, to business executives, to Special Forces military personnel and elite professional athletes.
Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Alexander graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. While at Temple, he was a member of the Men’s Crew Team highlighted by winning the National Championship. He later obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami, graduating with honors. He has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2013.
Dr. Alexander is an avid lover of the outdoors and sports. When not in the clinic you can find him in the gym lifting weights, playing basketball, or outside soaking in the South Florida sun.

Dr. Arevalo has over 10 years of experience as a physical therapist working with orthopedic and sports injuries, as well as patients with complex spine disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction. She has a passion and interest in treating pelvic, spine, and lower extremity disorders especially in runners. Her passion for treating running injuries led her to pursue her coaching license so she could help runners reach their goals safely while going through therapy and teaching them skills to be efficient runners for the long term.
Dr. Arevalo graduated with her Undergraduate and Doctorate Degree from the University of Miami. While an undergraduate at UM, she was a member of the track and cross country team for all 4 years. She also has a history of playing multiple sports including basketball, volleyball, soccer and swimming. Her passion and extensive history in competitive athletics inspired her to become a physical therapist so she could help others get back to doing what they love. She embodies a holistic and conservative approach to patient care, believing in hands-on, personalized treatment.
Dr. Arevalo has advanced training and credentials in Dry Needling, McKenzie Method, Myofascial Techniques, and Pelvic Floor Therapy. She has a history of working with a wide range of clientele from high school athletes, professional athletes, to business executives.
Prior to joining ASR Physical Therapy, Dr. Arevalo was Director of an orthopedic Physical Therapy clinic in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She also owned and operated her own concierge home therapy business providing individualized care to patients in their home.
Dr.Arevalo is an avid runner and competitive marathoner. She also loves yoga, swimming, and group HIIT workouts. On her rest days you can find her on the beach or spending time with her dog.
